Sorry about the first time out being so rough but hey its better to get the mistakes out of the way early. Any picture of the truck?
-
Pictures? Sure! Just go to SwiftTrans.com or look at any truck stop for a Swift Volvo!
LOL. Just kidding. Um, yes, I do have pictures on my iPhone but I don't know how to get them uploaded to this website. Can someone educate me? I would love to share my photos! -

Sorry guys about forgetting to let you know I posted to my blog last week. But I did, and this week too. Check it out...things are looking a little better but not great just yet. Still on some shaky ground mileage wise.

I'll be honest, but it seems like you're going home an awful lot. In this business, you can't make money at home, dude. <<--- I know you know that and all... It's hard to see valid complaints when every week or so, we read about your home time. Believe me that I'm not trying to be an ###, but this is how I understand it to work out there.
It does sound like things are picking up for you and that's great to read! I'm sure we'll meet up sooner or later. -
Actually, I've only been home a couple times. Only once as a full driver so far. Any other time I've been home, it has been a matter of coincidnce because my trainer was going home or I was switching trainers and my new one wasn't available yet. Again, a matter of coincidence. Besides, during training, I was only getting paid for my training days and not miles, so the time I spent at home wasn't really a factor on my pay.
Your understanding of how it works ou here is correct for the most part, but your understanding of my situation isn't.
Anyway...new blog entry: http://www.thetruckersreport.com/tr...ght1985/1845-never-using-lancaster-again.html -
Just wanted to say Ive enjoyed your blog, and agree on the Lancaster terminal. Im outa there, actually looked for you a couple days ago, I put my truck in the shop the Thursday before the 4th weekend, Qualcomm quit on me out in Savannah. They put the new dome on same night, I told them on Friday it still wasnt working lol anyhow they were keeping it in the shop to put a mirror on, I asked when the truck was due for B-service, they said they would check into it.
Make a long story short, I was finally getting ready to pull out of the shop the following WEDNESDAy, get a call from my DM saying the bservice was due on the truck! They kept it another day for a grand total of 6. Mirror, Qualcomm, Bservice. All they had to do was call Pheonix and have them reprogram the Qualcomm .....never again....BigT -
This weeks' entry hot off the pressure-sensitive touchscreen of my iPhone.
