    Studies like this annoy me. What about the important factor of overall good health? Exercise is important for cardiovascular health.

    Exercise also builds lean muscle, which in turn increases metabolism and burns fat naturally.

    I sure hope that the funding for this study was completely private. I would hate to think that any of my tax money contributed to this at all.

    There is a saying "Don't worry too much about life, you aren't going to survive it, anyway."

    One I came up with that I haven't seen elsewhere, although it may well be, is that life is a terminal condition.

    The only catch with that study is that if you don't exercise, and you lead a relatively sedentary lifestyle, then your caloric intake has to be fairly restricted, and most of us can't or just choose not to deprive ourselves of the foods we love most. Soooo, the only answer (and healthiest as Sportsoutlaw points out) is to exercise. Basically it's a simple formula of caloric intake -vs- calories burned (well that's not considering the nutritional side of a healthy diet, but that's another topic ;?D).

    LOL,Kinda like the egg thing. Eat just the whites, no, the yolk, no eat the whole egg but only if it is poached on Tuesday....etc
