Auto air conditioning there is a low pressure switch that kicks the compressor off/ on when the freon gets low .
Sometimes freon leaks can be hard to find . With dye in the system , next time it goes low . The tech can use ulta violet light to locate dye stains , then he can zoom in where the leaks is . Then repairs can be done .

Made it about as far as can legally be done in a Roehl truck today
657 miles along I-80 from western Wyoming to Grand Island, Nebraska. Set myself up to hopefully get to Gary tomorrow. The load is a d/h which can deliver as soon as I can get there so hoping to have it in Old Fort, OH by 1000 or so on Friday and then get something nice for the weekend.

Another 600+ day, got into Gary with 15 minutes to spare. Hope to get the a/c fixed tonight. No #### bunk rooms available when I got in so that kind of sucks but getting some laundry done anyway.

You should have asked about a motel room since it's a maintenance issue and no bunk rooms. Also I have been wondering why I see very few Roehl trucks on the road even in lanes where I know we ran when we were with them. When we are in our Gary OC I look down the road and wonder. Also does anyone know if Lorrie Scarpaci is still there?

Hey Jelly my truck is governed at 61 although on the floor it reaches 65 which is a couple mph faster than most but I generally just put it on cruise most of the time unless I need to eke out a few extra miles toward the end of the day.
Today started out ok. A/C seems to be working and it didn't take too long to get unloaded. Got a preplan to pick up some insulation in Defiance, OH heading to Milledgeville, GA. Two p/u's of which the second one took about 3 hours as their 1.5 million dollar computer system was shot, printer wasn't functioning and the fax wasn't working as well. The guy had to go to the other location to get my bills before I could leave. So instead of probably being able to get the load off tomorrow afternoon I will have to see if they are open on Sunday or perhaps try to drop it in Ellenwood and pick up something else as the official drop time is Monday. Guess I can't complain though as the last two weeks have been very smooth at nearly all locations and #### certainly happens on occasions in this job so just have to let it slide and roll on. Enjoying a decently cool might here just below Lima, OH but I anticipate that is soon to end as I near Atlanta

Another full day of running, 670 miles. Relayed the load to Ellenwood and picked up one from there heading back to southern Chicago. On some semi back roads tomorrow so probably won't be able to make that good of a time but don't have to deliver until Monday so ain't in much of a hurry. Starting to get used to these 11 hour driving days and my body doesn't ache much like it did when I first started out so all is well in that regard. Been pretty lucky in regard to the weather for the last two weeks as I can't remember driving through any rain of consequence or too high temperatures. The old a/c worked fine today so I hope that is fixed for good.

Well the Indiana "backroads" were not too shabby. Ran US41 all the way from bottom to top of Indiana with a little bit of IN63 thrown in. Four lane and empty the entire way with the exception of Hammond. So another 600+ day and back at the Gary terminal as my load won't deliver until tomorrow afternoon so I requested to relay here and pick up something else. Got a short load going to Rockford, IL in the morning and hopefully get something out from there. Only 14.5 hours left on my 70. Running my ### off.

Hi Jellybean. I'm a reefer. I like it and the miles are good. This past week was slow but that's unusual for me so no idea what's up with that.
Now I am new, 1 month out of evo 3, so who knows I may be missing something.
As miles go I figure I get about 2500 a week (this includes my slow week). I'll start keeping better track of that. Got to keep that reefer trailer clean though; don't ever want to be turned away from a shipper due to a dirty trailer. I also keep a very close eye on the temp.
I like the people at Roehl, drivers and office, and so far I've had quality shippers and receivers (Clean and prompt) except for 3.
I have no plans on leaving Roehl or the reefer side.
