NYC Man Fined $2,000 For Taking Discarded Garbage

We wouldn't want recycling to actually happen if it benefits the common citizen, heavens no, take that stuff to the landfill, and fine those peasants!

 

Its laws like this that make me think. I mean really this is the crap they are coming up with rather then fixing real problems. I really do think the only thing that would help this country is if we started all over.

 

In one of the neighboring communities near me the trash guys love their jobs. Last year when the whole HDTV thing happened all the rich folks threw out their TV's cause GOSH FORBID they should have to buy a converter! One of the trash guys took home a 52 inch big screen! And.. there is copper in the cords... a whole lot of stripping, but the drug addicts find it to be worth it to get a nickel rock I guess.
