Also ask Mr. Walleye to edit out parts of his quote....he'll do it if he's your friend. It might just save your %$# when a slick land-shark peruses the web looking for mention of it and then takes it into court. Ya' gotta admit...it don't look good in print.
Get a lawyer....great advicepanhandlepat Thanks this. -
Definately would not count on a company providing you with a lawyer. If you were named as a seperate defendant in the lawsuit you need your own lawyer. -
You can't get a public defender for a civil suite as far as I know.rachi Thanks this. -
You have that sister with the right group! The first consultation is usually free. Go Get one NOW! And don't trust Arnold at all as stated they are looking out for their own ARSE, not yours even though what YOU say could be held against them so it just might work out but I'd counter suit whoever it is suing you for tons of money, lost time at work and hey it pays on disability so MENTAL STRESS! Then you can spread a little of that out to your friends in here giving silly advice! LOL I'd like to know what happened that they are only now doing a suit. Did he post it in here and if so does anyone have a link?

You are getting good advice here.
Get in contact with Arnold. They are named as primary. It is not unusual for insurance companies to name all parties involved.
You will most likely be contacted for depositions.
Your sister can be a good adisor here. -
still havent heard another word about it. guess USX settled it

Never assume anything in matters of law...especially when the stuffed suits get involved.
Get a dismissal paper or something in writiing from the court that let's you off the hook. Nothing in a court of law is ever final unless you have it in writing and notarized.Texas-Nana Thanks this. -
wouldn't you expect some other certified letter if it wasn't settled? i would think so....but....

Why aren't you asking your sister, I'm sure she will know more about it than most of the posters here ?
My brother inlaw was in an accident quite a few years back. There were seven lawsuits filed against him. It took years to get through all of it , he was found innocent in all cases. But the lawyers made a killing.
