Typical load of #### from someone not cut out for TMC. Everything was bad and everyone worthless right? But not you huh? You need to check the mirror friend to identify the real problem.

I drove for them. DON'T DO IT, they lie to you and will make you break the law. They start you off great and then cut you in half or more

How does a company MAKE you break the law? Isn't it your choice whether or not YOU break the law.....just sayin.
redhog1959 Thanks this. -
I think what happens is these guys get intimidated by the dispatchers and allow themselves to get "bullied" into doing foolish things such as running illegal, falsifying logs...etc.
That could be one of the reasons that the bottom feeders like newbies...They intimidate easily!redhog1959 Thanks this. -
Word. Yes, we make them draw the lines in the book and continue to take the truck down the road. Ridiculous.

23 years as a trucker and you ask that question? Refuse to run illegal and they will make your life miserable. Abd starve you out.Last edited: Dec 16, 2009

Speedyi13-some questions for you (or anybody who knows the answer)
How long have you worked for them? Im awaiting my hiring approval from them and have suddenly been hearing a few horror stories about them. I'm hearing things like "no loads" and "only 400 bucks a week" and that they constantly push you to run illegal, etc. Are any of these true? I have a wife and newborn to provide for and need AT LEAST 750-800 take home per week to keep the things we have and pay our bills. Can I depend on this regularly? I appreciate it. -
Man, trucking might not be for you, money wise. To take home $800. a week, you'd have to get like 3000 miles a week, at about 35 cpm (if you are in the 25% tax bracket). Not sure what TMC starts new drivers out at, but the 3000 miles might be tough to get, consistently.
Also, are you factoring in your on the road living expenses in that amount? If not, add a minimum of $50. -
I liked what you had to say I'm think about going with them and it sound like you have to work and not be lazy but still have some brains to like this company but the ones that said bad things about this company shouldn't be in a truck I guess. I was wondering on the website they said age 23 hire and i'm 19 going on 20 in augest and I was just going to drive for for my local grain eleavtor until 21 but I want to ask will they hire anyone 21 as a student driver with some experiance becuase most people said no its 23 and I don't want to wait 4 years to get with this comapny and I also seen that some people on the foram said they have begun to lower it to 21 can you answer that.
