Ooooh such a dangerous truck driver....speeding down the road.

Consider yourself warned. :biggrin_25523: Even if the form doesn't say so.

He had to speed to catch me though. I saw him about 6 miles back.

Uh OH, looks like Tazz better check his points. He said that he has been inspected 7 times this year. 7X5 is 35 X3=105.From everything I've seen posted by the fmcsa he may be in trouble and not even know it. And I sure hope No one rear ends him. Then he will have that on his record, plus the thins he knows about.

I'm not really sure how this will work. I'm at a total loss. :biggrin_25513:

But it does go back to one of my other statements, we will lose a number of good drivers. Simply because the model is flawed.

Let's say he has been inspected 7 times in the past 12 months, by roadside pull overs. Then he actually gets a speeding ticket.

How will those 7 warnings get weighted, against that one violation ?? Will his "peer" group change/be affected ?

Will he be considered a habitual offender?

While I'm sure they will correct these issues in the future. I have to wonder what the effects will be on good people just trying to do their job.

    Drivers and Law Enforcement alike.

Nope. Bad drivers will receive their due marks, good drivers will receive theirs.

They can replace you with somebody "cheaper" now so that's a non-argument.

There will be no pay increase from any part of CSA2010, not the governments job.

Want a big fancy large car? Go buy one. Again not the governments job.

Never have problems in any particular state. Might be the way you look or handle yourself that leads to those states not liking you, try to not wear a Florida Gators shirt in TN, or a Alabama hat in Texas:biggrin_25525:

Might just be your attitude that sets the officer off, or the condition of your equipment. Who knows?

Are their bad cops, sure. Just as there are drivers that should be summarily shot for their actions.

Keep your poop in a group, keep the camera handy:biggrin_25525:, and do your job you should be fine.
