Here's the scoop...Started with Werner in Feb, halfway thru training realized it was pointless...got off truck. Now, driving OTR for small mom and pop farm, but it's not permanent. Have my eyes set on a small-medium sized OTR company... I'm sure my DAC shows voluntary quit from Werner, but this small outfit now I'm driving for doesn't report to the DAC, and even though my employment with them is verifiable, will a larger company hesitate hiring me if they don't report my clean record with them? As far as I understand, DAC is not only for the bad, but for the good news too. Maybe I'm wrong, and hopefully someone can shed some insight. Thanks all!
Does small company count if no DAC?

Verifiable experience is what counts,,avoid those that only concern themselves with DAC reports. Actually you would be better off to avoid any and all companies that report or check DAC. Companies can report flat tires as "preventable accidents" on DAC,then it is up to you to prove that no "accident" actually happened.
Scarecrow03 and AdamT2k Thank this. -
When a company says "verifiable experience", are they just referring to a reference check being done with your prior employer to verify your experience? It would seem that simple, but I wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something...thanks. -
Verifiable experience can be a reference check with your prior employer,DAC,1099,W-2,log Book,csa2010,SS number. I would never work for any carrier that uses DAC or has a HIGH driver turnover rate. Most big Carriers Lie,Manipulate and Blacklist Drivers.

Stay with the Ma and Pa company and count your blessings.....DAC, NO DAC...it's verifiable employment that counts......
