Hello, just wondering if there are any fed ex freight drivers on here. I am 99% sure i will be one in a couple weeks. I had the interview and the driving test already. Filled out all the pre employment paperwork and now just need the final approval from corporate, which i cannot see being any problem. Anyway just curious to know what you guys think...are you happy? The manager at the terminal I am trying to get into said i will train there for about a week and then I will be going for a week long orientation out of state. How does this orientation/training work? What can I expect during this week? Will i be paid my hourly rate during this orientation? Any input is appreciated.
FED EX FREIGHT...any drivers on here.

i was with em for a while; Can't say anything really bad about them. As a matter of fact they were one of the better companies i worked for.
i think if you're ex-military or sometimes fantasize that you are a robot of some sort you'll do very well at Fedex freight.
i also don't like how their converter dollys don't have pilot wheels on them----i mean come on! -
Not sure what you mean by pilot wheels, but i honestly do not understand how you could ever leave this job, best trucking job I could ever imagine having....owner op wages as a company driver!
