How far out from the time you start school should you start applying to different companies and hopefully get some pre-hires before you start?

Are you going to an accredited school, community college, trucking company training or ? Most of the time you'll find that while you're in school the companies will be contacting you before you ever complete training. Just resist the temptation to apply to the first offer that comes along. Being a recent grad, your choices will be limited, but once you get that first year of experience out of the way you'll open new doors. There is never any harm in putting out your apps before completion. Believe me there are plenty of jobs for rookie drivers to be had out there.
Best of luck to you and be safe out there. -
at the school i attended. we filled out applications the second day of school. and most of us had prehires before the end of the week.

Before you go, sign, or pay a dime.
