Thinking of CR England... Advice?

At large the industry feeds on attitudes, and the old system of supply and demand... it is a kiss ### buisness, and all large OTR companies are the same........
it is a lifestyle not a job for just anyone.....................
and the problem goes to America as a whole.............lie lie lie..............you have to look hard before you leep whether you choose to be a lawyer, doctor or driver!!!!

But like most of us you learn the hard way because nobody had the guts to tell you what the real world is all about..................I know your feelings.

 

We leased with CRE for 6 months - ended up paying them for the privledge of driving for them - truck was in shop more than it was out, at our expense, long periods of sitting at truck stops in middle of no where, low miles, etc. Knew they were crooks going in but husband needed 6 momnths experience as he hadn't driven OTR in long time. After 6 months wnt to Marten Transport. Love working for them All companies have a few problems but am treated well. Take 4 days hometime every month - our choice and seldom sit waiting for loads. Usually have new load before completed last. Made more 1st week than in an entire month # CRE

 

Great Point,about that one year exp,the new guy has to get before anyone hires him.......How to avoid that year of getting exp,without going broke or death!!!!
