Trucking Regulators Warn on Use of Chantix

I knew that movie was gonna be "My kind of movie" when in the very FIRST scene the guy "Launched" the yappin dog with his foot.

 

Good for you rookietrucker...keep it up. I went cold turkey 25 years ago and glad I did. Those cravings will last a little while longer, but just keep thinking how much money you will be saving without buying cigs.

 

i have to wonder if chantix was really that much worse than quittting smoking cold turkey....my step dad quit and has been acting "FUNNY" ....lol

 

I was kinda hateful for a week but after 2 years i won't go back!

 

I used this a couple of years ago and actually did quit smoking immediately for the length of time that I was using the drug. It made me super moody, but I wasn't smoking. Then I found out about the FMCSA ban, and that was that. I am smoking again, but never more than about a half pack a day. I wish I had been able to complete the program... I was still on the starter pack.

 

i admire anybody that can quit cold turky or any way for that matter---i tried the laser thing---long time ago--worked for maybe a day--tried the hypnosis tapes---yea right a waste of money--tried chantix before it was regd--#### stuff almost killed me--thought i was having a heart attack--must have had a reaction with my heart meds--poor old ticker #### neared jumped right out--i even tried the electronic ciggarette--tasted like i was smokin old diapers---very crappy---so now here i sit still at my 2 packs a day---hats off to all of you quitters
