I can only speak for myself... Miles I have been averaging 2800-3200 a week. Load locks are $20 each, lock kit is $80. Hometime is 4 weeks out with 4 days home. Maximum 4 days unless you are a L/O.jasper_truck86 Thanks this.

Hey great to see you DM and 1bad and widow back. I too am going to be getting back on the road, with that "certain blue" company. But will be running walmart dedicated out of gas city,in 5 days out 2 days off Ohio,In and Mich.
The work at Central wasn't bad, my DM was great, but it was everything else that not even draino could clean out. -
Thanks for the info Mike, be safe

I find em in empty trl then sell them back to central

You get 1 day for 9 days out. 2 days for 2 weeks out, 3 days for 3 weeks out, and 4 days for 4 weeks out. If you need more than 4 days, you better have a good reason and a sympathetic FM, and not do it often.
If you live near a major city, usually you can get home within a reasonable amount of time, but don't ever count on being home for something important. -
Hey... Anyone else currently going through training here? I have one week left in the yard, then it is down to Fontana for a quick test on some kinda drivin, or walkin around, or something like that (lol) then I get with a trainer on the road for 5 weeks... Just curious to see if anyone else is going through the same ####e on here as I am.

Hi there, just getting started in trucking. I've been talking to a recruiter, Mario, about training in Buffalo and then going down to Atlanta for orientation and 5 weeks with a training driver. I guess he has given me an offer. I'm just a little confused, I've only spoken with him and another recruiter. I haven't had any kind of formal interview. Do I really have a job waiting for me yet? What else is involved in the hiring/training process? Any info you can give me is much appreciated.

He is leased onto Road Link out of Savannah. We moved the family down almost a month ago now. He is driving SE only and home almost every night. He pulls containers in and out of the port here. Money is about triple what he made with Central and rent is half what it was in Atlanta so things are pretty good right now. I'm hoping to start work back driving a school bus in the next week or so. Just trying to get used to this dam heat around here and the fact that we are about 40 miles from Savannah in the middle of BFE!!!!!!! Keep it safe out there boys and girls time to start dinner and prep the stuff for our banana splits tonight gonna celebrate the 1st week of school ending. What?!? Come on I have to have a reason to eat them so I don't feel guilty! Trying to drop a little weight!
jasper_truck86 Thanks this.
