Illinois law creates tougher tollway watchdog

Compared to CA, at a glance, Illinois does far better, and seems like it does better than most other states on many levels. On the political level I think ever state is kinda screwed. Compared to other cities and states Chicago seems to have a nice unique setup overall but like I said this is all just at a glance from what I've seen.

Note: I was born and raised in Rushville, IL. A town of 3,300 people 120 miles north of St Louis, 50 miles N/W of Springfield IL.

 

Ohio is the biggest crook, imo. Those toll booths should have been torn down decades ago. Instead they've got the people in every state west of them paying for their school system and people in every state east of them paying for their police depts.

And don't get me started with Linndale.

 

Usually when ever the media is talking about state debt & screwed up politicians, CA & IL are mentioned together. Although if you annex Chicago off of IL, the latter would be doing pretty good. I grew up & still am just outside of Springfield too.

Those toll booths up on 80 are charging criminal rates all the way across. Just spent $82 Chicago to Cleveland one way & very few of the attendants have a sense of humor if you mention that the road isn't worth what they are charging.

 

But consider what you pay to drive in PA.

Crooks are everywhere anymore.
