CDL for motorhomes/tour buses with air brakes

    Is there any State that still has a chauffer's license? If so I haven't seen it.

    mea culpa.
    It's been a few months since I read the article. However, the point is that states are beginning to require additonal license requirements on RVs... at least the larger ones.
    I probably didn't pay as close attention to it as others might, since my CDL covers them all.

    Just googled it and there were quite a few.

    Indiana, Florida, Georgia, Michigan.

    Just to name a few.

    Well thanks for the information. All I ever see is CDL's or non commercial C or D licenses.

    I just love when I see grandma and grandpa clampett driving around in a 40 foot diesel pusher with a 28 foot trailer behind them and they are all over the road. And most of the time they are well over the speed limit too. :biggrin_25510:

    I have delivered those things.

    You would not believe how much the wind affects those things. Even the suction from a truck passing can move them.

    Personally, I try not to deliver these things since the fuel mileage sucks as well.
