Texas may have enough room to turn one of those things - just "maybe".

"Everything is bigger in Texas" doesn't work when compared to Australia.
The twin 53's pulled by those seemingly underpowered day cabs on the New York State Turnpike ain't squat in comparison to Australia.
Rolling three trailers on two lanes and one lane dirt roads makes the 4 lanes here in the u. s. seem like a playground.

When was the last time (if ever) there was a trailer pulling event here in these states similar to the ones that happen in Australia??
It's not like we here don't have the room, it's just that (I believe) we cannot garner the co-operation as to when such a competition would actually occur.

Road Trains, what a trip (pun intended)!!

Cheers! :occasion5:! You'd make a "True Blue" Aussie there mate! My answer was'nt a serious one - just that dry humour we have! Like Australia, there are areas where those monsters could be driven and driven safely and have the same capacity as Australia providing they don't try to put under strength and powered units under the weight. It takes a special driver and highly trained to handle one. My driving ability came from these units but not ones you see in pictures but ones that are used logisticaly by the Army in AU and they are bigger and more powerful again. Raise your glass to a Mack Titan - maybe one day they will be here! Cheers! :occasion5:

I always wanted to ask, do you get paid more for driving in Russia?
And, I am maybe planning to drive from St. Petersburg, Russia to Stockholm, Sweden (my car, not in a truck.) Why does everyone drive to Turku or Helsinki and then takes the ferry to Stockholm? I looked at the map, you can go through Finland up north and enter Sweden. Or is there no roads in northern Finland? Fuel too expensive?
