Our truck was leased to a company that owes us 9000.00 and won't pay. We are incoporated ,I was advised we would need a lawyer. My lawyer said it would cost just as much in lawyer fees to go after him. I have called just about everyone I could think of to get help. He has now closed up shop in Arkansas and opened in Oklahoma. During my research I discovered he may have had five different business in Kansas. I believe (well, am certain) he may be scaming drivers. Is there someone that I can report him to? Is there some one that can help us? Thank You

I would think that maybe the dept of revenue, the FBI because if he is setting up shop in different states and pulling this same kinda thing then I think that classifies as a big time felony on a federal level.....not sure but a phone call might get you some answers

I sure do appreciate the information. I tell ya there isn't enough laws to protect O/O from bad carriers. But if you have something broke during a move the feds are all over it. I tried BBB and the Attorney General in both states. BBB said fill out the form and I haven't heard back from the AG office. I did get satisfaction in knowing he lost a major broker because of it. We went to work for them. I know of other drivers that didn't get paid too.I talk to a PA next week to see about criminal charges, theft of services I think they called it.
