Well I go to work for them August 30th. I graduated from driving school July 27th. I had gotten acceptance letters from Swift and Werner including several phone calls.. After speaking with my father who has 35 years of trucking under his belt he told me those were the worst companies. So I heard a lot of good things about roehl so i applied.. after being accepted i got a call from them. I took my physical last Friday and I'm excited for orientation. I'm gonna be over the road on there 14/7 program.. can anyone that does 14/7 tell me what that is like? and also is roehl as good of a company as i have heard or is it a crappy company? My dad told me that i'm better off with roehl then swift or werner.

Use the <<Search>> at the top of this page. You will quickly have enough information to judge for yourself. I'm giving heavy consideration of going to Roehl myself. I have been reading these forums and researching companies on my own. So far Roehl looks like the best option for me. My criteria are

    1. Do I live in their hiring area? (I live in east of I95 in NC and several companies don't hire drivers from here.)

    2. Do they train and is it any good? (I'm a newbie w/o a cdl)

    3. Does the company have a good reputation. (In england the race is not always to the swift.)

    4. How easy is it to contact the company. ( If I have difficulty when trying to get hired, then I know I'm toast as a driver.)
