I have extreme knowledge of it since I lost my brother in law to a hit and run drunk driver who left him laying on the dark road and was later struck by two other vehicles over the next hour of which only the last one, a commercial bread truck stopped and called 911. -
I don't doubt your previous unfortunate knowledge but the prosection of murder is relevant to this malcioius case.
Google is your friend.

Malicious so you know has to be proven and intended.
Kind of hard to do this.
Most they will even attempt or get is a manslaughter charge. -
for all involved it is an awful thing to have happen
the family for losing a loved one
the two drivers for being there--and leaving--i can imagine they must be worried and scared--
it looks hard to figure out from the damage just what happened--and who is at fault---but leaving the scene is the worst thing you could do regardless of fault -

I'm sure your right, with the justice system our scums ( most of them ) are faced with are given what is "fair". This is not always dealt with the right way. As you previously seen I said the driver that hit the Volkswagon was guilty but should have had mercy since he probaly would have not known. After further investagation he rear ended the driver which any person with sense would know that would cause injury. He drove on with no empthay for what he did. Which proves malicious intent. -
What charge do you think the family wanted?
Care to guess how much time they served? -
hell guys for all we know it was foggy as #### out
