now that is a good question and not an easy answer, i use conv peterbit i fine that they ride good and there easy to work on but a word of advice no matter what you buy don't buy a short truck it will beat you and the truck to death no body seems to pay attention to wheel base a short wheel base truck will shake it self to peices not to mention the driver that means more repairs that you don't need i would not have a truck shorter then 265 wheel base they will cost you more then there worth.

hope this helps. best of luck, southernpride :biggrin_25514:

    Blackw900,
I did the dollar a truck with Midwestern back in 78. I had a break in service and I went right to them. Drove for them for 18 months, took back there truck and went back into the Army. I think I owed the a few thosand when I dropped the truck off,. but never heard from them again. I great leasson learned, never leased a truck again, always bought it. I was much happier. Fun memories of loosing money.

    Safe Miles,
    Larry
