Hi to anyone reading this. I'm looking to get into the industry for a new career. Sick of driving a desk. Any help on good companies to start out with would be appreciated. I've been reading a lot of the forums and everyone seems to be really nice and helpful. I'm looking to get into otr and don't really care about home time. Every couple months would be nice. Any and all help is greatly appreciated! Thanks again.

Yeah, those desks don't corner the best. :biggrin_25523: There's plenty of information here for you to browse through. If you haven't decided on a school, I'd stop off in the Trucking Schools section first. Keep us posted on your decisions. Don't forget, we have thousands of members here ready to help, so don't hesitate to ask questions.

Welcome to the site. I'm a newby myself who just recently signed up after lurking for a year

I'm originally from New York (Albion). Left in 1976 because the job market had tanked so badly. Ended up in Salt Lake.

Good luck in your search. There is some great information here and some really helpful people.
