I have an old supersleeper fiberglass add on sleeper top that fits on top of a standard single sleeper cabover that makes it so you can put a queen foam mattress up on your roof and have a nice size bedroom up there.
What's the catch? The thing has been sitting for a LOT of years off a truck, around 20 so the interrior fabric lining may need to be replaced . ( I poked a camera in there and it didn't look too bad, southern California weather may have been kind to it and someone might get by shampooing it) window seals may leak although they still look pretty good, they are standard rv type windows. The thing sits about 3'4" high and once settled down around the top of a cab you get about 3' inside minus the mattress height, does not come with a mattress ( what the heck do you want for free ) I have some pictures up on webshots here
The two window looking things on the front are stickers, the company quit putting real windows up there because they all leaked , but they looked funny without something so they have stickers. Will require good fabrication skills to install.
Whoever wants this thing would need to come get it quick and would need to bring all their own help to load it up as I'm an old cripple now and can't lift a blamed finger to help. it would take 3 real men or 5 pansies to lift that thing. It's built stouter than a boat hull , so it would be wise to bring dollies, it's poked down in beside a house. Three of us poked it back there, but we were driving rigs with no power steering in those days.
This thing is sitting in Van Nuys California ,Part of L.A.
First come first served, I won't hold it,I've had too much trouble with folks promising they want something and never showing up. whoever shows up first with truck or trailer in the yard walks off with it. I just want it gone.I've been storing this thing at my Mother's house and I need to be taken out and beaten senseless for leaving it here this long.
Thanks------Robert
