Sorry to say, you just bought a $250 fuel temp wire. Pin 62 is the fuel temp input.

Does it tap in to any other pins...

No just the 62 pin on the MXS,NXS and the 33 pin on the other cat engines(bxs,mbn,6nz) It makes a difference on the truck where as the fuel temp wire on it already didn't make a big difference.
If I was to use a meter on the wire I removed it would goto the fuel temp?

Yes, if you put a meter on the wire you removed it will go to the fuel temp sensor. If you put a ohm meter on the wire you bought from him, you will know what resistor he used and compare the resistance of your old fuel wire plug.

    I will try that aswell.
I got a bad feeling when I seen that this thing could go onto Non Acerts. Check me if I am wrong but isn't the acert the only one with retarded timing settings and the other cat engines use normal timing settings.

I checked it and confirmed DDS's words. the wire I hooked into goes to the fuel temp plug. I am rather pissed that he told me it adjusted the timing. but he did say that is cuts the amount of fuel down. I checked it on the ohms and it was higher than the temp fooler I had already and my truck is doing .75mpgs better on fuel. I can't figure it.
