99 Kenworth W900 no jake or cruise

    Neither the cruise or jake will work. Both are controlled from the steering wheel. Hooked laptop to ecm and cannot see jake or cruise toggle on/off when buttons are pushed. Didn't know if the steering wheels have a history of problems.

    The wheel itself had problems or the connector and cable? Owner says he replaced the buttons, but nothing seems to work.

    There an electric module in the dash. It may not be working. But yeah check all the cables and connectors and see if that black box is getting power.

    Also you might want to check and make sure your clutch pedal is returning all the way back up. There's a safety switch on it and if its not coming all the way up neither the cruise or jakes will work.
