"Pilots" the truckers friend, and now Tennessee is getting one of the Hasslem brothers ( owners of pilot oil ) for governor for the next eight years, he wants to help the dear citizens of Tennessee like he has the truckers for the past 30 years. God help us.

Many of you will agree with me on this one. The Flying J # Kansas City on the east side off of 435 that sits next to the KW repair shop.
Their parking was not built for 80ft long TT and definately makes for tight space. Flats dont have as much trouble as Drys or OvrSize but it still make for a rough day when everyone is getting in and out to get fuel and park.LindaLou Thanks this. -
Posting these places is satisfying in a "vent" sort of way, but it's also practical for new drivers or old hands who rarely stray from their region: Write 'em down and keep the list near your atlas.
It isn't just convenience. Some of the T/S's listed will cost you an absurd amount of time just to get out of/away from after you realize, "No way!" and decide to motor on. (A decision that takes about 15 seconds.)
MUCH better not to take the exit in the first place. -
He hasnt been elected YET has he .I see his ads on the knoxville station I get but didnt think he got it yet and if he has or does GOD help Tn the whole #### state will be 55 mph for trucks just like he did in Ktown ...He was the one who pushed the hardest for it and it went to Choo choo town and blues town music city didnt but in to it ...Best wishes to the people of Tn

you know these are designed by someone who has never been in a truck much less backed one in. that should be the first requirement to be able to design a parking lot
ky wildcat 4ever and tech10171968 Thank this. -
TA I-80 exit 4 Columbia, New Jersey. Hard to get in and out especially if there is a breakdown anywhere near the street coming in, also there is a bunch of signs directing you out so as not to make a hard right turn to get back on eastbound 80. I don't disobey signs, not worth a bunch of tickets for that.

If i could add to what i stated earlier: The bordentown petro next to the pilot is much larger and has many more spaces, but it's pay to park; You get, i think, first 4 hours free but then after that i think it's
$15 unless you spend at least $20 in the truckstop.
In a pinch, there is a lightly/seldom used rest are just past exit 56 and 57 on I-295 and just before the exit for I-195 which brings you back to the NJTPK.
It's real quiet and not that many trucks/cars here so maybe only use it if you can't find a space elsewhere nearby. i think you'll be alright, but always think safety first.

Alanta,Ga I-285 exit 16 Pilot.
One of worst.LindaLou Thanks this. -
The "Flagship" Pilot ... LOL! - Knoxville West, TN. x374
Gotta be in the top ten. -
i have been to that one.......i think all the pilots i have been to are the worst. some older (unbranded) truck stops are bad as well, thankfully, those are dying off as well, for better ones...........or not, depending on what the new land owner wants to build.
