I'm about 250 miles from the Lewiston,Id terminal..has anyone ever driven to their terminal..the recruitor said I could either drive and get reimbersed or take the bus..if I drive do they reimberse actual fuel cost(I have a 3/4 ton w/460..needles to say it inhales itself to the gas station..lol) or do they give you a certain amount per mile? .. TIA

Best guess I have Gdyupgal is that they will reimburse your fuel expense up the the cost they would have incurred if they would have provided a bus ticket. If I'm right about this then, you can bet, the cost figure they will use will be based on their discounted rate with Greyhound.

And, good luck to you in your training/orientation! Oldnew...

Hubby drove to the Lewiston terminal when he was in class there. But then we lived only 20 miles away :biggrin_25522: There were several students who drove there, from Montana, Oregon etc. Keep your gas receipts and all should be good.

If you're going for orientation with prior experience, better bring your stuff. All of my group went out the last day. They started routing the mentors in the first day of Orientation.

Well I went to a private school and have my CDL w/all endorcements but that definatly doesn't qualify me for experience..lol..and it's funny because my school had a huge very extensive list for the pre trip and went to the DMV to test out and didn't even have to lift the hood..lol..thru my whole memorization outa wack...how extencive is Swift pre trip exam?
