I'm not even thinking of hiding it, but like I said...I know the cop. I know that I could bring it in front of a judge and he just won't show up. Then I'm found not at fault. Besides...my sis-in-law is the boss dispatcher and my Dad was Chief.... I can fix it if I have to

Get a lawyer. Play it safe. These aren't just tickets and fines anymore, they are detrimental to your LIVELIHOOD!
Call Interstate Trucker.
Just my $.02cpm -
:smt022:smt022:smt022Ok gonna call the recruiter right now.....wish me luck

I wish you luck Greeny. School Zone tickets are the hardest to get fixed. My Son got one years ago and my real good friend, District Court Administrator, told me he could help me with anything except a school zone ticket. But that may be just in my area.

Ok. Recruiter put me oh hold, came back 5-10 mins later and said one would be ok. Said she got it approved so I don't have to worry about being sent home once I get there. But she still wants me to fight it so it doesn't go on my record. Even if I can get it down to 10 over, that would be much better. They will "try" to get me home for the court date but no promises as that wont be for another 3 - 4 months.

Awesome news Greeny! I'm really, really glad that worked out. That's gotta feel like the weight of the world came off your shoulders. Phew!
By the way, if you do get a lawyer, they can represent you and you don't need to show up for the court date. All you do is write out a signed statement, and also write out and sign a note stating your attorney is representing you and can sign any and all paperwork on your behalf.
Notice I keep nudging you in one particular direction?
In any case, good deal. Chances are, if they are allowing you to go to orientation, even if it goes on your record, I doubt they'll fire you. If it was a huge deal, they probably would have told you to stay home until it was taken care of. Just make sure you put it on your application when you get to orientation (you'll need to fill out a whole new application there), and during yoru background interview be upfront if they ask about it. It's already been approved, so nothing to worry about. Home free brother! Now quit driving until orientation!
