I am headed to SPRIMO on Tues. October 19th. Finally have things in order I believe to finally make the trip. I know it is early to begin my own thread, however, I thought the early worm gets the hook so to speak. I just want to thank IP, U2, Sazook, TruckerMike, DirtySideDown, etc for all your help, insight, honesty, etc and I look forward to seeing you all down the road. Of course, as I am going through Orientation and Training I will keep you all posted. In the meantime, feel free to post here and ask questions.![]()

What!!! You took OUR advice???
Man... don't you know that U2, Sazook, TruckerMike, DirtySideDown and I are the "official company shills??" NOT! We're all drivers just trying to get down the road! LOL... speaking of which, my 10 is up so I have to get going! Good luck man! -
LOL!!!! Yeah what was I thinking when I took all of your advice. Yikes. I better back out now. I am calling the recruiter now. I am officially resigning my postion! Oh wait, lets not get hasty here, I haven't even started yet. Let's wait till I get there, then I'll resign and start a thread on the "report a bad company" here thread. Then I'll stick it to all you guys then!!!

I'm actually pushing to get there for the 21st. We'll see, might not be till the 28

I wanted to go this month, however, just wasn't possible. Wanted to get bills paid, save some $$ for the road, etc. So I am headed there the 19th the latest. Hopefully October 5th. However, more reasonable the 19th. No sense in rushing and being unhappy. Maybe I'll do the 12th. Right smack in the middle.

Good luck maverick. Make the training work for you. Remember, the only stupid question is the one never asked. Keep us posted even if you think it all sucks.

I may have missed it somewhere... Are you coming as a student or do you already have your CDL?
Either way, keep your chin up... Any problems, avoid conflict if possible first and get in touch with us here and we can try and steer you in the right direction and helpnyou solve the problem.
I personally didn't have any problems my entire training process but you never know what kind of instructor or trainer issues someone can have. I certainly hope you get good ones... The odds are very very good. -
Thanks. I will keep everyone posted. Have some time before then. October is next month. However, never too early to start. Besides, I can slowly chip away at the supply list needed for the truck. Oh and start getting some warmer clothes since I'll be training in the winter months.

I am coming as a Student. Good old class "D" driver. I think I am going to try and get Sazook to be my trainer. LOL! He is from the Virginia area and I am from Maryland. Close enough in my book. Who knows though. Good thing though is Sazook isn't a smoker and neither am I. Thats a win win in my book. Anyways, I definetly have my chin up. Thanks for your posts and insight. Been very helpful. I have made up my mind. October 12th is the day.

Hey good luck to you. That's good you're coming in as a D seat. I came in from an outside CDL school, but if I had to do it all over again I would do everything at Prime.
I'm with U2. For the most part, aside from a couple very minor speed bumps, everything has gone pretty much flawlessly here at Prime.
If you ever have any questions or need advice that you don't want to post out in the public, I'm a PM or an email away.
