I would like to get some info on getting my 475 ISX ECM flashed to something that is better than what Cummins has to offer. I know that PDI sell ECM'S and does flashes but I think that they are a rip off in price. I called PDI and asked them if I could bring my ECM to their business location in person & have it flashed, their response was NO. That left me very curious and untrusting. I don't trust mailing my ECM off to them. BullyDog is also too expensive at $2800. I have seen what a ECM flash upgrade can do to a CAT and it's all around nice with the fuel improvement & power. I'm not looking for my truck to be the Hulk but I would like to improve over the stock program with having a 1850 torque setting. Bottom line, just wanting to get rid of the garbage factory files setting. From what I have read on this forum, Mr. Haney is the man to deal with. The problem is, I don't know how to contact him and can't PM either. Any knowledge on a reptible person and or business that can flash a Cummins ISX ECM in North Carolina or Mr. Haney would be helpful. I can be reached at scs469@gmail.com Thank you!

j ball electronics in b.c. has a reflash ECM swap program they are on Ebay sometimes ,and have a website . good luck .I am going to go with the intake manifold and gizmos and harness with another ecm from a signature 600 from a junk yard for about $700 but thats what they charge about ,but that way I can use the 450 in the winter ,but 600 is a LOT a LOT of POWER !! be careful if you have a tiny transmission torque . had to make mine a 2050 torque 18 speed to feel safe for this changeover in power

So.....you want someone to write a custom program eliminating the factory programming but you don't want to pay much for it? Good luck.

What PDI location did you want to take your ECM to? There are only 2 places in the country that PDI can physically flash your ECM, Utah and Pennsylvania. And you can most certainly take it to them and have it done. You just can't go to your local PDI dealer and have it done because they don't have the programs.

No matter where you get your truck flashed your probably going to have to UPS the ECM. Some do ECM swaps where they send you a programmed ECM and pay a core charge, then you mail yours back for a credit.

I could be wrong and if I am I'm sure someone will correct me but I think you only have a few options and none are going to be cheap.
1.Buy the Bullydog and flash it yourself
2.Drive to PA or Utah and have PDI flash it
3.Have PDI flash one or buy the Jball ones on ebay and use yours as a core
4.UPS yours to one of the few places who can flash them (down maybe 3 days)
