Where there is smoke...there is fire. I bet that company had employees that reflected them as a company.

You would be amazed how many idiots there are in trucking Management. You would also be amazed at how many companies, the smaller ones in particular who can't survive without breaking the 70 HR rule, the whole model of their company depends on it.

The difference being a driver goes to jail, he loses his job.

Put a company out of business, everyone loses thiers, Because of this you wind up with good people getting punished for things bad people that are running the company do.

I fully understand this and i feel for the good drivers but SOMETHING has to be done with these companies ...If they was held accountable for more than they are drivers will be treated better and better pay

Don't expect it soon. Look at the CVA2010 and the way it is to be.

You said it all right there. I knew of that company it was outlaw hauling the cheapest freight and depended on the trucks rolling over 3,000 billed miles week to stay afloat. It was crap from the equipment to the ownership. I feel for the drivers who lost their jobs but the public is better off without that place on the Road.

I agree with that. A good thing about the 90 days as well is that it gives drivers an opportunity to jump ship before it sinks.
