I currently work overseas and when Im home for good Id like to start hauling cattle. If I had a truck and trailer where would be a good place to get started,,(hauling fat cattle, feeders, stockers) and what would be an Ideal set up for hauling all three? (spread axle, fixed tandem)?

what kind of money could I expect if I only had a pmnt on the trailer?(owned the truck)

I just want to get some feedback from folks that want to make some money and run fairly regular

Let's talk a bit first. I have a few questions I need answered before I can give you good answers to your first questions.

    1. Why do you want to start hauling cattle?
    2. Do you have any experience with cattle?
    3. What is your trucking background? How long, what type, etc?
    4. Do you have a family or single? How often do you want to get home? Yes, it matters.
    5. Are you planning to run your own deal independently or run for someone else in your own truck/trailer?

    That should get us started.
