I currently work for tracker marine building boats. Top pay is about $25k after taxes. I wanna get into driving. I live 45 mins from Springfield mo. So there are tons of places. I just turned 21. I had some trouble times when I was 17 but when I finished probation my record was supposed to be wiped clean. I have no tickets and no accidents. I have a steady work history. I'm looking for a place that will train me and get payed while training too. I know I'm asking alot. But wife don't work and I have bills. So who would you guys recommend. My step dad and grandpa used to drive. They were o/o. And owned multiple trucks with others driving for them too. But my mom and step dad divorced and grandpa moved so I don't know who to go to, to ask questions.
Help me out guys.
Thanks in advance, Ryan.
Who to apply for???

Yes, there are tons of places in Springfield, Mo. But which ones hire 21 year olds? Look at Prime, Wil-Trans, O&S, Christianson, IWX, CTI, The Daniel Co., And the company with the religious sign on the back of the trailer which I can't remember their name off hand, which says " His name is not the Man upstairs etc". Also, you're close to NW Ar. which has a bunch of companies too.

I've looked at prime but are goin to lightwieght trucks with no passenger seat so my wife couldn't go.
I've looked and most will hire a 21 year old but none do cdl training but prime.
I was thinking of goin to the school in Strafford then goin to USA trucking but been reading and getting both good and bad reviews. -
