Who is the best company for a recent CDL Grad Student?

    Good afternoon everyone! My Husband and I are researching trucking companies that hire recent grad students from trucking schools. We have researched and found a lot of bad; however we understand that most people who post negative had their own personal negative experience. Can anyone share who they think is the best trucking company out there for new drivers?? We are located in Florida and have found that some northern companies do not hire this far south. My Husband is willing to do OTR or Regional. Like most we are looking to find a company that pays well, has good insurance and reliable trucks.

    Con Way freight would be my choice if I were in your shoes. Florida may be the biggest problem of all though.

    There are a lot of good companies in Fl. A lot of them are floral and you can make really good money running floral. Armellini, peninsula, honey, windy hill, DTS, MCT, check out the careersingear or bigrigjobs websites. Also craigslist usually has a lot of trucking carriers on there. I would recommend to not go for whoever your school recommended. They get paid by those companies to send you to them.
