When I come home for my days off, does anyone know where I can keep my truck and trailer? Does anyone know what I can do to see if there is a place I can keep my tractor/trailer? I can not keep it at my house. I have no room. Just wondering. I thank you for any information. I live close to the hattiesburg, MS area in case someone is near this location and know of a place I can keep my truck in a secure area. Thanks again everyone.

When I worked for Werner I had the same problem. I ended up getting permission from a manager at the WalMart in my town to park off to the side while I was home.

I also see a lot of trucks parked at churches for what ever reason. They usually have the room and tend to have sympathetic individuals in charge that would be making the decision.
You might try some farmers in your area as well. They would likely have the room and may let you park in an out of the way place possibly for a small fee if not for free. Not sure how secure this option may be but it's just a thought. -

There's that little truck stop on US-49 just south of Hattiesburg near the gate to Camp Shelby. You might ask them. I seen trucks there before that looked like hometime trucks. Also there is a truck shop directly behind that where you might get permission.
Other than that I have used boat and RV storage places. I've rented a spot from a truck shop before. You also have that rest area just south on I-59 that has a security guard. Talk to him, you might slip him a few bucks. He probably could use it.
There's some spots north of Hattiesburg on 49 too.simplyred1962 Thanks this. -
Not to mention....just drive around. You might find some hole in the wall gas station with a TON of room, and a few trucks parked there. The place i park, is about 2 mi from my house. I've seen company trucks run down that road before...but its only because they've missed their exit for the interstate headed south. =) But its a small town...but they'll have anywhere form 4-8 (local) trucks parked there. And the owner dont mind, and always lets you know that he's not responsible for anything.
BUT....come wintertime, i'll park back at the Flyin' Pilot...just in case the thing wont start. =)simplyred1962 Thanks this. -
I thank ya'll for ya'lls help. I'll have to ask my trucking company if they mind me parking closer to my house like ya'll suggested. I thank you for your help.
