I live near Orlando and am about to start trucking school. Anyone have any ideas about what good companies there are to start out with? The ones who advertise in the paper alot are Werner (already heard the negative about them), Schneider, Swift, CCC, and Sysco. Thanks for any help.

SYSCO or SYGMA would be good choices. Both pay over 50k a year, and home pretty much daily or every other day. Both are very physical jobs, as well. You will touch every piece on the truck and deliver it by hand-truck at each stop.

I worked for SYGMA for 7 years. SYSCO is their parent company. They have great benefits, and offer pension as well.
