Marten doesn't do Western 11. If you live out west you either do national or you run up and down the I-5 corridor if you live in Washington, Oregon, or California. Any other western state will put you on the national fleet.

dont forget the I-5 runs have alot of mountains into oregon and washington, and then there is L.A. Dont forget the 55 speed limit in ca and oregon and the traffic. I think the western regional guys should get more $ because of the speed limit, mountains, and the weight issues on your trailer ( 7th hole bridge law). the guys (and gals) running in the midwest for example dont have these issues.:Route ID:

    Blah blah blah
i just left marten and all i can say is paperless logs suck and increase the driver stress level 10 fold, however my bring home the past 3 weeks was $881, $841,$771, 34 hour restart every 7 days because after running 7 days my 70 would be sitting around 10 or less so whats the point just do a reset a pray to the california gods. Marten is trying to make it work but falling behind on frieght i was there 15 months and the first 12 before e-logs i never p/u or del late, the past 3 months i had shippers and recievers telling me i was a day late for p/u or del. I wish they never would have put me on e-logs i'd be making a killing right now. I know the o/o are loving it.
By the way just my opion marten is a good company to drive for especially if you like to drive 100% legal, communicate dont run your mouth too much and p/u and del on time according to the qualcomm dispatch detail and you'll do just fine. A lot of the negitive posts here are from scewups who would have a problem with any company.

I left Crete last year to try my hand at a sales job that I was offered. Then I made the mistake of going with Marten but came back to Crete in May. Things have gone MUCH BETTER ever since- less stress, more money (no per-diem BS), and better-maintained equipment. Also, no rail yards or going to Canada constantly either.

You will like Crete much better than Marten. I'm also finding more time to get out and ride my mountain bike now all while still getting to drive 2,800+ miles a week on average. I will end up with 3,150 this week and had 2,987 last week.

Well... I don't think it's exactly out of line to find a claim of "548miles a day.... EVERY day.. for 5years" a little bit hard to believe. The phrase "extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof"... isn't a cliche for nothing. My advice would be:
If it's true, take pride in the fact but don't try too hard to convince...
If it's NOT true... Do the same, but minus the pride part.

For someone with nothing to prove, you seem to be trying pretty hard to do just that. Personal opinion: I'd just leave it alone.
