Hi all,
I have been out of the seat for two years now (6yrs exp) and im looking to get back in to one. I would like to get in to car hauling because they seem to make more money (if not please advise).
Way i see it if i have to be out in a truck for two weeks at a time or longer then i need to be paid well for it. the two company's i have spoke with both say 65-75k per year (im gonna go out on a limb and say its prob around 45-55k) but that beats the UAW driving job im prob gonna turn down that only pays 32cpm.i do have the option to go over to Churchill from Detroit for 35cpm home once a week(if i go back to van that will be it i think)
Sorry this is so long !!! Ok so i have spoke to ......
precision motor transport group----sleep in truck
United Road -----paid motel
i would run out of warren MI but i could do Taylor MI i hear from them
warren would be a little more flexible on home time.
BOTH SAY 2 WEEKS OUT
looking for thoughts and info on either one or both please.
i have searched the forum on both and found info but i would like some updated info.
any one run for either company? if so how is freight now days?
what is your opinion on this.
THANKS ANY INFO WOULD BE GREAT
