Hi; I am new to this forum, just wanted to check in and say hello and hope all are well and keeping it between the lines safely.
I want to return to trucking after being out of it for 8 yrs. clean MVR and still have my cdl's , recent dot physical, but not sure how to get re-acquainted with a good trucking firm except to jump in and try to check out all the resources. Any input for older female drivers would be a help. Have a good day, Lydiat

Welcome to the forum and welcome back to the industry, Lydiat. You may be ready to jump right back into the seat, but the bad news is that many companies will want you to retake trucking school because it has been more than six months since your last trucking job. However, companies are starting to get desperate again for drivers with clean MVRs, so if you call around an explain your situation you might find some that are willing to put you through a company refresher course without having to graduate again from a CDL school. If nobody is able to suggest a likely company in this thread, you might try the trucking jobs forum.
