No rest stops charge to park that I know of and not many truck stops charge to park either if they do charge to park usually you can buy things in the store and you will not be charged to park

Good, quiet, safe, and legal parking spots are similar to good fishin holes...never tell anybody where they are at.

Because if everybody knew about them...they'd be just like all the other places.

There are tons of places to park your truck. Make observations as you drive up and down the interstate, you'll notice large shopping centers/abandoned shopping centers/wide frontage roads/dirt lots next to McD's etc. Look for other trucks that are parked there already. In a perfect world, you would want all services available with-in walking distances, right? Just watch out for ghetto areas in large cities. Most truck stops are free. You have to pay in large cities on the west coast and some east coast areas.

You can park at some of the coops......They're usually free unless you blow your HOS or get caught with a deficiency on your rig....

Me don't like that kind of parking places. Think I will move it on down the road. :biggrin_25523: I was personally invited to park there one time for 10 hours.....:biggrin_25521:
