Oh my get Law breaking driver he's doing 56 in a 55mph zone. I think that he needs to lose his CDL. Because he just broke the law. Now everyone here comes Delta 5 Force. And he's coming after ALL LAW BREAKERS. And he doesn't care if it's a REAL LAW or Not! Just his opinion is enough! Driver D-5 is going to shoot you. Why? You broke the law speeding. Because you just did 33 in a 30 mph zone. That's just how dumb you sound D-5!
Now please show ALL of us where in Parts 95 & 97 it says that you, I, or anyone has this power to go after these law breaking radio users. They DO NOT TALK ABOUT YOU BEING AN ENFORCEMENT AGENT!!! Or do they say that anything is a crime.
Part 95

And why do you keep saying that I am trying to police the bands? Because I beleive that rules are for everyone? I havnt done anything but spout my opinion on a message board. -
I noticed you quoted one of my posts, but deleted everything after the first line...HAHAHA!
Sooooooo....To humor you I went back and re-read what I posted, because I didn't remember saying anything about it being legal to modify a CB Radio in anyway shape or form...
"Delta 5 said"
As for the "Exports or 10 Meter Radios" being legal or not, most of you people who keep trying to down grade the radios by telling people they are trashy radios, or sound like splatter stations and want the FCC to go around yanking them out of guys trucks, are miss informed or are miss leading people in your posts...
There is nothing wrong with the way these radios transmit, and "Out of the Box" sound every bit as good as any Cobra, Midland, or any of the Ham rigs on 11 meter...(Yes I said Ham rigs, because they also can be modified for 11 meter just about as easy as the so called "Exports")
The problem on 11 Meter with "Splatter Stations" or Over Modulated radios has nothing what so ever to do with any of the Manufacturers Radios out of the box...
Problem comes when some of the "so-called" CB Tech's go in and do their "Peak & Tuning" and start adding things, and cutting limiters, and people running some of these cheap-built Amps...And also the problem lies with some operators who don't know where to set the knobs on the radio, to make it sound the best on the other end...
It's Not the radios fault if someone got inside the thing after the sale, and tinkered around with it trying to make it do more than it was designed for...
You can take a Kenwood, or a Icom or Yaesu and go in and cut limiters, and volt finals, and they will splatter and sound as distorted as the CB Radios y'all talk about all the time too...silentpardner Thanks this. -
The point is that the exports are illegal to import and market. And the FCC is not enforcing that...
-
Because their whole deal with the so called "Exports" (which makes no since at all calling them that, since they are NOT Exported...They are "Imported" just like every other radio on the market!)
FCC claimed that the main reason they don't Certify the Exports, is because they can be easily converted for 11 Meter just by doing a few minor modifications...Thing is. So can most (if not all) of the Ham radios like Icoms, and Yaesu, and Kenwood's, etc...
Anyone that knows what they are doing or can do some Googling on the Internet, can Mod just about any radio to pick-up the CB Band...And this is why the FCC has quit trying to enforce it's own Rules...
9 time out of 10, IF a case go's before the Courts on dealers of these radios, the case gets thrown out of Court because the FCC can't prove Ham Radios can not be modified for 11 meter any harder than the Export Models...
Now will the FCC ever change it's mind on the Exports, and finally come around and Approve them...Probably not. For several reasons.
1. The sale and use of the Export radios is so small compared to other things the FCC governs, that wasting time and money on something this insignificant would not be worth the effort.
2. Even if these Export Radios are indeed targeted at the CB user, and are intended to be Modified easily for CB Channels, CB Radio is just not a major source of communication anymore and is more of a hobby than anything for less than 1% of the population...
3. FCC stopped enforcing CB Violations years ago, and turned CB related violations over to local law enforcement to handle complaints...
Now, that said, it doesn't mean the FCC wont pay you a visit, if one of your neighbors keeps contacting them because your High Powered CB set is screwing up their TV set...The FCC can and will still come pay you a visit!
But, in almost every case, If they come to your location, for the most part all that will happen is they will quote you Rules and Regulations on CB use, and tell ya to basically stop broadcasting at more than 4w's...
And this can go one for several years with them coming out and warning you to stop, before they will do anything like try and take you to Court for violations...And then even then, allot of cases still get thrown out of Court, or any Fines leveed get reduced to a fraction of the original Fine. -
If you see someone run a Red Light what do you do? Do you go pull them over? If not why not? Start doing that. And we'll see just how long you get away with breaking the law.
Like I've asked you before. Just show me where you get the right to just inflict your will upon others? You are breaking the Law! And it can't be done. I do have enough sense to know that we all have enough problems. And no one needs me trying to create more. Nothing that you've said makes any sense. It's DUMMIES LIKE YOU that give Drivers a bad name.
I am very thankful to know that most people don't think STUPID like you!
Now tell us the truth. Do you really have a CDL? Or just a wannabe driver also Mr. Delta 5 Force/Secret /CB/Ham Radio Agent/ Speed Cop/Make Your Own Laws/.Last edited: Sep 29, 2010
