Just think of it as training for trucking..... like waiting for your next load...:biggrin_25523:

By the way where is Hodgenville located ? I have alot of family in KY. But have never heard of Hodgenville. Of course you've probably never heard of Goldbug either. It's near Williamsburg.

We're just outside of Elizabethtown which is about 45 miles south on I65 from Louisville...

In KY, especially since the check has already been cut, you would have to re-apply for funds or any change to your original app. Chances are they would not even let you re-apply since they've already paid out. I would just ride it out and hope for a quick class date.

I was hoping the one school could just pay it back to WIA but I am taking the advise, which agree with my 'clear headed' thoughts, and will just wait until they can fill a class...Thank you all for being my sounding board!!

If I didn't know 2 people that went there and now have good jobs, it would a lot more than it does...I think this falls under the concept of taking the good with the bad...

This is also a VERY small town of less than 23,000(the next closest is 45miles away and it's huge with many schools so traveling here would be a last resort), so I can see it being tough finding people with the desire to do this AND have enough money or knowledge of WIA...I wouldn't have known about WIA unless my cousin(of of the 2 people that went thru this school) told me...

UPDATE: Well, I put in a call to the other school last week to inquire right after I got the 'bad' call from the first school putting us off..Today I get a call from the other school and they said they have done this before(having a student switch from the one school to them) and it's done in a day...They are $200 more but have a grant fund that will cover that so WIA doesn't have to reevaluate anything AND they will reimburse me for the medical and urinalysis I already paid for...

They start classes every Monday whether there's 1 or 30 students and took the proactive approach of dealing with WIA for me...They also said if they can get the good word from WIA today, I CAN START TOMORROW and we'll just make up the missed day during one of the weeks!!!!!!!!!!....They also said I would be the only one which really makes me happy as that means all the truck time is mine!!!!!!!!!!...

My fingers are crossed and hoping they can pull this off, I'm ready to rock n roll!!!!

Good luck, I hope it works out for you. Schools will tell you anything to get your Biz.
Hopefully they didn't open a can of worms.
My cousin used to give the road tests in Ky., he retired about a year ago.

I believe THAT but since they are going the extra mile using the people THEY know at WIA to help, I'm feeling ok with it, if they can't, they can't, nothing lost on my end...They could have easily told me, "if you can work it all out, we'll take you"....It seems, to me, like there are too many schools in this small town of 24,000 people to support them all, someone may be closing their doors...
