I tend to see other drivers acting more politely when you get off of the beaten path.

The 2nd video he had to pull back out and do it again. He forgot to open his doors.

I had a PU in Cincinatti just like that. There was a bar across the street and they were cheering me on, lol.

The Volvo has such a tight turning radius. I like the fact that he got out and looked at the front right corner.

I know I'm not the only guy who ever did that! :biggrin_2559: Why, oh why did I have to do in front of an audience? :biggrin_25523:

Hey Kansas, thanks for the memory of Wolf Creek Pass. My husband put me behind the wheel there back in 1984 for the first time on a 2 stick. LOL He said this is how his dad taught him to drive back in the early 70's. Said I either survive it or not. Obviously I did it since I'm still here. Everyone thinks he's crazy for teaching me there. Actually it was a great experience, but a scary one at the time. Thanks again for the memory.

Yep, been there, done that. Dark, inside, tight, left turn in, dock. I thought they would open inside. I was wrong by about 2 inches on each side. I had to pull out and open them and then try to back in again. The hardest part was not tearing the trailer doors off getting in and out of the exterior shipping area doors. They were scraping on the way in and out. Dockman looked at me when I finished and his comment was "I didn't think you were ever going to get in there". My comment to him was "me neither". Most of those docks were built back when trailers were narrower and a bunch shorter. Just gotta love those intercity docks.

And yes there's always an audience watching. And they seem disappointed when you make it in and out OK.
