A lot depends on where you got the ticket. Some states have on line driving school and the points won't show up. Also what is the company policy on tickets. Most are 3 in 3 years. make sure to slow down in the future....with CSA 2010 comming out this will hurt if you want to move jobs.

I would start thinking about slowing down. The next one may cost you your job and risk your career for the next few years.

Better get an attorney and get it resolved.

Is it common? I have not had a speeding ticket since 1974.

Then tell him to slow down. They probably nailed him in the 55 mph zones anyway.

i do believe you/he(?) is now looking at losing his license for 60 days...........(if over 15 mph each ticket) (2 serious violations in 3 years)

good luck, but seriously, i have no sympathy for your situation.

Those that DO NOT learn from the past, are doomed to repeat it.........

With a CDL driving school is know longer a possibility. He needs to hire a good attorney yesterday! Don't just pay it. He maybe able to make a plea-bargain through an attorney. Under anti-masking laws you can know longer go to driving school or get an deferred judgement. He may have too go to court and hope for the best. He should also consider SLOWING DOWN......
