I am going to werner orientation on 10-13, I know "don't go to werner they suck" blah blah. Fact is this is one of the only companies hiring in my area so i'm going with them. I was told that after my training i would have to slip seat out of the woodhaven michigan yard. How often or how long does this happen/go on for. I was told that other oppurtuniteis are opening in the area but slip seating is not my favorite thing. I was just wondering if this is common practice for these larger companies or should I demand a dedicated truck? Thanks All

Not sure about way up there. I live just north of I-69 most of the larger over the road companies say I live 2 far north. Werner was the only company that said they would hire me right away. I filled out the on-line application and heard back from them the next day. Hope u find something soon.
