sure lmajito i will as soon as i can, i'm getting a lot of good feedback from drivers out w/ stevens, the job is gonna be how you make it from what i hear.

 

where do u stay in dallas for OT ??? what hotel??

 

If u take the bus to dallas who picks u up ??? or do ya have to take a cab ???

 

Oh and i thought you take ur classes in houston at hcc if ur from houston any feed back on any of these questions be thanked

 

I have never had a 500 mile week, unless i was at home for 6 of the 7 days. 2500 miles a week is average. I consider it a bad week when i only get 2300. Now for setting at the meat patch for 2 days, I then have a full 70 and can run like a wild man, and still get 3000 miles for the week.

Now if I have to wait twice during a week to get loaded, which only happens once in a blue moon, then I do not get 3000 miles.

2 1/2 months = 10 weeks if everything goes exactly as planned and you take NO days off. Nothing in trucking goes exactly as planned. The 4 months is if you go to school also in Dallas.

1 week orientation one and travel to dallas
5 weeks minimum out with the first trainer. (35 days)
1 week for orientation two and travel to dallas
3 weeks out with a finish trainer minimum.
10 weeks if everything goes like clock work, and you can start OII right when you get back to the yard. Otherwise another handful of days gone.
OII starts on Monday....miss the start have to wait until the next monday.

 

Hello my fellow drivers, this is the last day at home, I leave for Stevens tomorrow, I hope to see you on the road, and I will take in all that has been posted and try not to look like the rookie I am I hope to find some good friends while I'm on the road, and I'm willing to learn everything I can this first year.

They use the Days Inn and Crossroads. You'll have to share a room or pay for your own.

 

They use a yellow cab company. Call someone in recruiting and ask for the #. You will
need it when u land in Dallas.

 

is the pay good after training because i have a family to feed
