There is a huge thread, about Central, that started a couple years ago and is ongoing today. It has a ton of info about the company and was my deciding factor of going with Central. I actually went to a school in Buffalo, NY but I am leaving Saturday for Conley, GA to do my 3 day orientation.

The thread is located here: http://www.thetruckersreport.com/tr...re/40859-central-refrigerated-truck-stop.html

Be prepared as its about 1000 pages long

They are a pretty decent company. My wife and I drove for them for awhile and were pretty happy there. Check out the Central threads on this forum. I think the majority of the drivers that work for them are pretty happy there. I haven't been through their schooling but I am sure it is pretty much the same as all the others. As far as pay goes it is fairly decent and their equipment is always new. Good luck to you and welcome to the forum.

Good luck to you as you start school. Take in as much info as possible. You'll be glad you did. Don't forget to post about your experience at school too!

Central is big on first impressions. How you dress and act at school and orientation is how they think you will dress and act in front of their customers out on the road. I also know for a fact that this will play a part in what kind of truck you are issued! You will have a one on one interview sometime during your school or training, so be prepared. A good resume and a copy of your MVR will go a long way too!
