3 drivers in a truck?

I have no idea. I have seen it before and wondered how that worked myself.

 

Hey they are just getting an early start on things. Haven't you heard the gov wants to change our HOS to 8 hrs driving a day so this will be the new norm. 3 drivers per truck on 8 hr shifts.

 

VERI TRANSPORT use to be in Ontario had the 3 drivers 1 truck deal ( only 2 in truck at a time ) , you rotate through drivers as a team and 1 is out of hours 1 has some left and 1 has MAX hours

 

nooooooo-unless you are east indian then you have one license and three drivers
3 team works so there are always 2 drivers on truck and one on days off
maybe years ago you could do 3 in atruck--but now--even tho you have a sleeper supposedly you can only legally have 2 in a truck--cause thats the number seat belts

 

Rotating time off the truck.

 

Well ask C.R. England.. They are running 3 in a trk. I saw it with my own 2 eyes last fall.

Stopped at a rest area and was dropping my trl. for the night and in came England with 3 drivers.. I asked the one driver and he was the so called trainer.

He said the trk. just keeps rolling with 3 drivers. I told him he was nuts and he said I'm making money.. Up to him..

Ya think they have one log and three different coloured pencils?

 

Well, if they have KW's with the couch then there are enough seat belts. I think the TransX joke was that they used to have 4 drivers, all named Singh and used those 4 colour click pens for one log book.

Mind you they used to say they just cut a hole in the floor below the bunk and would do their business through that.
