Well I was made to team for 90 days. Teamed up with a guy not from my area but he said he only wants home 1 day every few months. After I get some recent experience I will be trying to head over to McElroy.
Got a new International with 1300 miles on it. First load was 1000 miles give or take. Just got another load from TX to AZ going to walmart DC for another 1000+ miles. We did have to sit for around 14 hours for another load due to the PTA being screwed up.

Well I'm not one to lie so I won't. Either my DM or this company is just flat out horrible. As a team my average miles per week is 3000. This week is a little better but its still the worst I've ever seen. By the 20th of this week we will have ran 2300 miles. One of the worst things about this company is they make you sit forever. I got 2 34 resets in 4 days with only like 1 hour driving in between each one. I'll just have to tough this dirtbag company out until i get more recent experience.

ya but I had to get some recent experience to get back in the game. This week turned out good but I doubt it will stay like this. got 4800 miles on saturday this week so that leaves 2 more days to squeeze in some miles. Overall a horrible place to work.

    Basically they suck,

but go see for yourself, you may have different results.

When I went to orientation at Cov. 2 and half yrs ago there was no strenght test. Just eye test - read letters on the board - urine test for drugs.... That may have changed, not sure. Any company will pay (most likely) for medical test at a clinic for the medical card prior to orientation.

Covenant will accept almost anybody. People with problems with their mvr, people who will not be accepted anywhere else, etc... But the company doesn't pay well at all and their dispatching is a mess. And new drivers have to team for 6 months.

Go somewhere else if you can.

I am actually leaving Covenant and going to PGT Trucking. The miles here suck and you better pray you don't need to call in because they hate people that call in. As a team I average 3000 miles a week and now going to be 2 days late for my hometime since they gave me another load that didn't exist. If you still want info on them anyways PM me your email and I will email you the work assesment test info and the pay scale.

Basically the test consists of this:
The first thing that is done is they take your BP and heart rate. After this they only monitor heart rate. First you do squats then they take heart rate. Next you will lift up 2 sets of weights. Your heart rate will be taken after each. Next you will do a push and pull test followed by them taking your heart rate again. You then climb up a ladder onto a platform and down a few times and they take heart rate. Next and last you squat underneath the platform you climbed up on for like 20 seconds I believe. You cannot use anything to get up or you fail. That is the end of the strength test. Anymore questions just ask.
