My Burke Digital cooker boils the water in the non stick pan it comes with. When I cook rice or sausages it boils! It will go up over 300* I use it, and a lunch box cooker. (not at the same time!)

Bad thing is the non stick stuff is flaking off.:biggrin_25523:

If the non stick coating is coming off, why don't you try using crock pot liners? They'll make cleanup a lot easier, too. I don't know if they can handle temps to 300 degrees, but if you need those temps, you can test that easily enough. I know for a fact they'll handle 212.

The Best Wipes I found were Wet Ones "Big Ones" in the pouch. Usually got them at Wally-World. They were about the size of a wash cloth and they had a mild, kind of citrus type scent. There were times when I did what soldiers in the middle east did in times of need. You can't get a shower, but you can scrub down with the Big Wet Ones and get by. Another great item was Doctor Bonners Peppermint Soap. I had a large salad bowl, and would pour a 16 oz bottle of water and a couple of squirts of the soap. I would spread out a towel on the floor to stand on and scrub down with the soapy water, and use a wet cloth to somewhat rinse off. The peppermint soap doesn't dry the skin, and has a low Ph, so you could actually just towel off. You can also shave in the same bowl, then pour the water out on the ground. At least you get clean.

If your truck has a apu w/inverter you can buy a 1 burner at walmart and boil water all you want. I boil eggs, and I make homemade chix noddle soup yummy. I also have a toaster oven, a microwave, toaster and coffee maker, oh and a built in fridge w/ freezer

You can nuke corn-on-the-cob in your microwave. Remove most of the leaves surrounding the ear, leaving just one or two layers. Nuke for about 3 to 5 minutes. Peel off remaining leaves and the silk. Enjoy
