Suppport Thread for the TND 500, TND 700 or future Rand McNally products.

Mark, where is the best place(s) from which to purchase the TND 700, ie the ones which have the latest builds and updates and the previous issues have been corrected? I need to get one delivered soon (hometime coming up
).

Our units are all the latest hardware, but Rand may have done a software update since this batch arrived, so if you don't have a computer or a good internet connection, or whatever, just call and say that you want it checked for recent updates before shipping.

I finally got home and ready to do the *big update*, rather reluctantly because the TND has been working so well lately. I hooked up to the Dock and it updated as usual but never asked me about updating the maps. How do I check to see if I have the maps already? or find the update button for the maps ? thanks
